I’m based in Oceanside, CA and have always had some sort of passion for The Church and missions. I grew up in Sacramento and was able to be a part of Mexico mission trips with my church, where we helped build rehab homes in partnership with a pastor in Ensenada. I’ve also been able to take part in a Three Strand’s fundraiser race called “Run for Courage” or “Break Free” as it was later known. 

I wanted to continue to feed that fire inside me and didn’t know where to start until I moved to San Diego. I began to think… There are already organizations dedicated to spreading The Gospel and helping people overcome the world, and if I can find a way to help them I’m one step closer to my purpose. Soon after this realization, the Brand Ezer Collective was born.

Here is a little bit of insight into this awesome brand and the mission behind it!

Ezer is a hebrew translation that means “help” or “strength”

You may recognize the word from the hymn “come thou fount” or from 1 Samuel 7:12. In scripture Samuel places down a large stone monument he calls “ebenezer” which means “stone of help”. And when you take out the prefix “eben”, which is stone, you are left with the word “Ezer”.

It doesn’t mean a basic form of help as we may use it today but the meaning can be taken even deeper to describe someone who rescues. In this case the rescuer is Jesus.

The goal of Ezer Collective is to unite a community of believers in the goal of spreading the word of God and promoting an identity in Christ. Not just in mind, but in spirit and emotion. With this shift in identity comes freedom. Freedom from the things of this world like lust, poor self worth, and hopelessness.

This brand and this community can BE an ebenezer - a stone of help - that reminds the world what God has done and is doing, and can help contribute to the different global missions of the church. Each purchase will give someone a choice for what mission they want to support.
